Experts own the content that they post; they also grant Featurely and other partners of the Featurely platform certain rights and license to use it.

Every article Featurely creates is 100% unique to the Publisher. No article is shared or syndicated to multiple publishers. If you post a question, we’ll create an article just for your website. In addition, Featurely also checks every answer for plagiarism, expertise, and whether an answer may have been written by artificial intelligence (AI) to help ensure unique content. Please note that AI detection tools can never guarantee 100% accuracy. There is always a small risk of false positives and false negatives.

Featurely content is 100% free for Publishers. Marketers (PR firms, marketing agencies, in-house marketing teams, and do-it-yourself small business owners) pay a subscription to answer unlimited questions on Featurely. Featurely offers three plans to marketers who want more exposure: Starter (free); For Experts ($9.99 / month); and Team (starting at $49.99 / month). Plan type has no bearing on how Featured selects answers for publication, and Publishers have no obligation to publish content or quotes if editorial expectations are not met. The result is a win-win for experts who want exposure, and publishers who want quality content from experts. Publishers pay absolutely nothing for the content. Publishers have full editorial control of content received from Featurely. Featurely collects, identifies, and converts the best expert quotes into ready-to-publish expert roundup articles for publishers. However, publishers may choose to only publish the quotes that meet their editorial needs or standards. If direct editing to an expert quote is needed, it is important to keep the message of the quote true to the original version. Acceptable edits to quotes: Minor rewording, rephrasing, restructuring, and removal of text. Unacceptable edits to quotes: Changing the message of the quote, removing all attribution to the original author, and plagiarism.

Nope! Featurely does not require Publishers to link to expert websites. Publishers have the choice of whether to include a link to an expert’s website in articles they publish, including the choice of qualifying an outbound link. All decisions on whether to link to external websites are at the full discretion of the publisher.
